Fun with CSS

This week we have been mostly looking at how to transform table based layouts into pages styled with CSS. Although this can be time consuming especially when dealing with large sites, the benefits of styling with CSS will far outweigh the cost of adoption in the longrun. Have a look at these useful links I've found:

The home of web syntax standards which also has loads of CSS examples with a great editor to see how changes to CSS affect layout.

First Web Develpment Post

Hello there, welcome to my web development blog. My name is Paul Rowe, i'm currently studying for my MSc in Multimedia Computing at UCLA, i mean UCLAN, thats in Preston, England. I am particularly interested in User Interfaces and Flash Web Development. When i'm not busy learning code i'm attempting to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces. I also keep an eye out for latest developments and trends in particular those concerning software agents and composable web services.

The blog will be updated on a weekly basis and will cover a variety of issues concerning web development, culminating in my finished project: An online CV/Blog/Portfolio.

So without further a do, I will begin documenting my adventures in web development. While i'm busy doing that feel free to browse, check out the links and comment on any of the posts.
